S1GP FastRace

Pole man Thomas Chareyre (TC4R1 Racing) was the author of a perfect start where he pulled away and took the lead leaving behind Marc Reiner Schmidt (L30 Racing TM Factory) and Lukas Hollbacher (MTR Ktm Racing). Chareyre headed the field for the first two laps but had to leave the first place to Schmidt, who attacked the French rival and eventually took the lead. Behind the duo, Andreas Buschberger (Husqvarna) moved in front of Hollbacher and after taking the third place chased the front runners.

The race pace of both Schmidt and Chareyre was extremely high. The French rider attempted several times to move at the front but never made it and qualified three tenths of a second behind Schmidt. Buschberger finished third and was followed by Race1 winner Hollbacher. Among the Italian riders, Elia Sammartin (L30 Racing TM Factory) was once again the best challenger. In the Rookie, the victory went to Buschberger.

S1GP SuperFinal

The starting grid of the SuperFinal is set according to the qualification of the Fastrace. Pole man Marc Reiner Schmidt (L30 Racing TM Factory) was followed by his long-time rival Thomas Chareyre (TC4R1 Racing) and Andreas Buschberger (Husqvarna). Chareyre stretched away at the start to take the lead, chased by Schmidt. Lukas Hollbacher (MTR Ktm Racing) wrote his name on a phenomenal start from the second row, where he was on the gas and moved to third place. After three laps, Schmidt pushed harder and took the lead of the race, but Chareyre did not surrender and tried to take it back. In that moment Hollbacher brilliantly overcame both rivals and took the first position. Lukas’ performance was solid for the following 15 laps and at the end of the session was crowned race and GP winner. Schmidt and Chareyre tried to reach Hollbacher but eventually finished the race in second and third position. Hollbacher won the GP of Sardinia, while Thomas Chareyre is still the current red plate holder and keeps the Championship leadership with a 4-point advantage over Marc Reiner Schmidt.

In the Rookie, Andreas Buschberger won the GP, and was followed by Steve Bonnal (TC4R1 Racing) and Romeo Fiorentino (Gazza Racing).
