Continuing to build his advantage, he eventually rode clear to a commanding 34-second margin of victory. With it he clinched his 49th EnduroGP class win to strengthen his hopes off signing off the 2026 season tomorrow with 50 career wins in the EnduroGP category.

Behind Garcia, Pichon perfectly defended his position of second. Although not quite able to make inroads into Garcia’s lead, the Frenchman was twice fastest in the EXPOTRADE Cross Test. Second today sees the TM MOTO rider move up to second overall in the championship with just one day of racing remaining.

The fight for the final step of the podium was hotly contested between Holcombe and Beta Factory Team’s Nathan Watson. Holcombe held the advantage throughout the majority of the day, but it was in the afternoon when Watson began to up his pace. Steadily closing down a nine-second deficit, the Brit took third with a strong ride on the final EXPOTRADE Cross Test of the day.

Missing out on a podium result on day one, Holcombe had to be content with fourth, placing an agonising 0.29 seconds behind Watson. Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Andrea Verona completed the top five.

Enduro3 home win for Holcombe

In the Enduro3 class, Holcombe delivered a strong ride to take the victory on home soil. The Sherco rider won by 41 seconds. Fantic Factory Racing’s Theo Espinasse ended his day as runner-up, with Beta Factory Team’s Brad Freeman completing the top three.

Pichon raced to an important victory in the Enduro2 class, ahead of Watson in second, with Verona third. The result now sees Verona’s championship lead cut to just one point by Pichon. With everything to play for tomorrow, the Enduro2 title fight is set for a thrilling finale between the two riders.

Garcia continued to edge closer to a perfect season in the Enduro1 category by winning today. Triumph Italia Racing’s Morgan Lesiardo took second with Triumph Factory Racing’s Jeremy Sydow completing the top three.

Rowett leads them home in Expotrade Women’s Enduro

The Expotrade Women’s Enduro class saw RIEJU Factory Team’s Rosie Rowett take victory in her home Grand Prix. The young Brit was in exceptional form in the dry and dusty conditions, setting the pace throughout the day. Racing clear to a commanding one-minute-and-eight-second margin of victory, she will be hoping for repeat success tomorrow.

After a slow start to her morning, world champion, RIEJU Factory Team’s Rachel Gutish began to find her rhythm as the day progressed. Winning both the final POLISPORT Extreme Test and GMOTO Enduro Test, she secured second overall. However, with Rowett setting a commanding pace on the EXPOTRADE Cross Test, Gutish knows she will need to hit the ground running tomorrow to properly challenge her teammate.

Making it a British 1-3, ET James Sherco UK’s Nieve Holmes took third. Holmes took three of the day’s fastest times and will be another threat for top honours to the RIEJU Factory Team pairing tomorrow.

France’s Mauricette Brisebard (Beta) and Justine Martel (Beta) rounded out the top five on day one. Electraction TM MOTO’s Elizabeth Tett won the Expotrade Junior Women’s category.

Joyon keeps Tsubaki Junior Enduro title fight alive with day one win

The Tsubaki Junior Enduro class saw Triumph Factory Racing’s Leo Joyon claim victory on day one to keep his title hopes alive entering the final day of racing. The Frenchman is on top form during this second half of the season, and today won by 19 seconds.

As championship leader, TM MOTO Boano Factory Enduro Team’s Alberto Elgari was unable to secure the world title today with second place. The Italian will have to wait at least one more day, but with an 18-point lead to manage, he does have a virtual grasp on his first world crown.

Elgari’s teammate, Manuel Verzeroli put in a strong ride to finish on the podium in third. Team KTM Pro Racing Sport’s Romain Dagna took fourth today. There was an added celebration for Dagna who won the FIM Junior2 Enduro World Cup.

Scardina Crowned Putoline Oil FIM Youth Enduro World Champion

There was plenty of celebration in the TM MOTO Costa Ligure camp at the end of day one, with Pietro Scardina winning the Putoline Oil FIM Youth Enduro World Championship. Starting this morning with a healthy points lead, the young Italian rode a smart and calculated race to finish out the day in second place and secure his first ever world title.

Fantic Factory Racing’s Valentin Mersin won by 16 seconds over Scardina. WP Eric Auge’s Yago Dominguez completed the podium in third.

The 2026 Paulo Duarte FIM EnduroGP World Championship concludes tomorrow with day two of the Forsiteservices GP of Wales.

For complete results, visit: https://www.endurogp.com/2026-results/
EnduroGP YouTube
Forsiteservices GP of Wales: Day 1 Highlights
Forsiteservices GP of Wales: Friday Highlights

Watch FIM EnduroGP LIVE on FIM-MOTO.TV

The Forsitservices GP of Wales will be live streamed on FIM-MOTO.TV. With the pressure off the Spaniard’s shoulders, Garcia can focus on putting the finishing touches to his 2026 campaign. With his current EnduroGP class win tally standing at 48, he could close out Sunday with a record-shattering 50 victories to his name.

The fight for EnduroGP vice-champion is expected to go down to the wire between Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Andrea Verona and TM MOTO Boano Factory Enduro Team’s Zach Pichon. Verona is only five points ahead of the Pichon in third. However, Pichon has outscored Verona during the last three rounds and will be determined to carry that momentum into Wales this weekend.

The remainder of the top five looks set to be settled between the Sherco Racing Factory duo of Steve Holcombe and Hamish Macdonald in fourth and fifth, respectively.

In the Enduro2 class, Verona holds a slender six-point lead over Pichon in second. Verona is aiming to win his third consecutive Enduro2 title, while Pichon is hunting down his first senior class championship since winning the Junior Enduro title back in 2022.

The Enduro3 category sees Holcombe lead the way by six points over Beta Factory Team’s Brad Freeman. As two of the most-decorated EnduroGP riders in the paddock, both will be hoping to secure the world championship on home soil.

Expotrade Women’s Enduro class set for final round

In the Expotrade FIM Women’s Enduro World Championship, RIEJU Factory Team’s Rachel Gutish was crowned world champion in Portugal, but behind her it’s all but settled. A four-rider, closely-fought battle for the silver and bronze medal positions is expected, while the Expotrade FIM Junior Women’s Enduro World Cup should go down to the wire too.

Lying second, RIJEU Factory Team’s Rosie Rowett holds a seven-point advantage over ET James Sherco UK’s Nieve Holmes in third. Rowett will enter the final round in a confident mood having raced to a double victory in Rhayader last year.

For Holmes, the pressure will be on. She is only one point clear of Ambiance Moto’s Justine Martel in fourth, with Marine Lemoine (KTM) a further three points back in fifth.

The Expotrade FIM Junior Women’s Enduro World Cup sees France’s Lorna Lafont (Husqvarna) arrive in Wales with a 19-point lead over her fellow countrywoman Charlene Boudon (Fantic) in second.

Elgari favourite for honours in Tsubaki Junior Enduro

The Tsubaki Junior Enduro World Championship sees TM MOTO Boano Factory Enduro Team’s Alberto Elgari start as favourite to clinch the world title. With a 21-point lead, the young Italian could be crowned world champion for the first time on Saturday if he secures victory.

After what’s proven to be a terrific second half of the season for Triumph Factory Racing’s Leo Joyon, the Frenchman has moved into second overall ahead of the final round. Joyon holds a five-point advantage over his fellow countryman Team KTM Pro Racing Sport’s Romain Dagna in third.

With Dagna 16 points clear of NSA Racing’s Kevin Cristino in fourth, it’s likely the final championship podium placings will be decided between Elgari, Joyon and Dagna in Wales.

In the Junior1 category, Elgari leads the way over Joyon, while Dagna has a comfortable lead over Cristino in the Junior2 class.

Scardina champion elect in Putoline Oil Youth Enduro

TM MOTO Costa Ligure’s Pietro Scardina has a virtual grasp on the Putoline Oil Youth Enduro World Championship as we enter the Forsiteservices GP of Wales. Claiming five victories from the last six race days has resulted in him extending his championship lead out to 19 points.

Team KTM Pro Racing Sport’s Simone Cagnoni is second overall. The Italian must win on Saturday to keep his chances of winning the world title alive ahead of Sunday. Fantic Factory Racing’s Valentin Mersin holds third, with WP Eric Auge’s Yago Dominguez eight points behind in fourth.

The Forsiteservices GP of Wales gets underway this weekend in Rhayader, 7-9 August, for the 2026 Paulo Duarte FIM EnduroGP World Championship season finale.

2026 Information
The Paulo Duarte FIM EnduroGP World Championship community is growing fast on our socials.

However, the American is a fierce competitor. She will be hungry to add further wins to her tally in Rhayader and complete her 2026 campaign in style.

Behind Gutish, the focus will be on who will join her on the final championship podium. With only 11 points separating second to fifth, it really is all to play for this weekend.

Lying second, RIJEU Factory Team’s Rosie Rowett holds a seven-point advantage over ET James Sherco UK’s Nieve Holmes in third.

Rowett will enter the final round in a confident mood having raced to a double victory in Rhayader last year. Harnessing those winning feelings from 12 months ago puts her as a rider to watch for as she races to secure her position of vice-champion in the final standings.

For Holmes, the pressure will be on. The opportunity of beating Rowett for second will need to be balanced with defending her current placing of third overall. She is only one point clear of Ambiance Moto’s Justine Martel in fourth, with Marine Lemoine (KTM) a further three points back in fifth.

Martel raced to a double victory at the season opener in Italy, and after some tough races, she would love to finish out her championship campaign on a high. Lemoine is also enjoying a strong run of form and will be pushing hard in Wales.

The Expotrade FIM Junior Women’s Enduro World Cup sees France’s Lorna Lafont (Husqvarna) arrive in Wales with a 19-point lead over her fellow countrywoman Charlene Boudon (Fantic) in second. With the chance to successfully defend her title a day early on Saturday, Lafont will be chasing victory on day one.

After her double victory at the GP of Portugal II, third-place Elizabeth Tett (TM MOTO) has closed the gap to Boudon to 15 points. If she is able to deliver another strong performance this weekend that could see her beat Boudon for second overall in the championship.

Watch FIM EnduroGP LIVE on FIM-MOTO.TV

The Forsitservices GP of Wales will be live streamed on FIM-MOTO.TV.
