EICMA MOTOLIVE DAY#1 – REPORT TIME
"Report Time - La seconda giornata dell’ottantunesima edizione dell’Esposizione Internazionale delle due ruote ha visto ancora una volta le attività di MotoLive protagoniste nell’area esterna di EICMA. All’interno dell’Arena MotoLive si sono alternati gli spettacoli del freestyle e del trial ai quali si è unito Maurizio Perin con il suo Buggy Back Flip che ha lasciato senza fiato il pubblico di EICMA, accorso a vedere i trick degli stunt-man, lasciandosi incantare dalla loro bravura, accompagnati dal commento degli speaker e delle voci di Radio Deejay dal palco piazzato davanti l’allestimento del paddock SBK e del bivacco tendato della Africa Eco Race. Le finale del Campionato Italiano E-Bike Cross FMI Just1, la seconda entusiasmante battaglia delle Bicilindriche della Champions Charity Race e le manche del trofeo Superenduro hanno invece animato l’area racing di MotoLive con alcuni dei migliori piloti del mondo off-road impegnati sulla terra e sulla sabbia di EICMA..."
Superenduro – Giornata di rivincite nel trofeo Superenduro di EICMA 2024 con il Campione del Mondo della E2, Andrea Verona che firma il Tissot Holeshot e vince la sfida del venerdì, salendo sul primo gradino del podio con un primo e un secondo posto, terminando davanti al vincitore del giovedì e Campione del Mondo della Enduro GP del 2023, Steve Holcombe (Honda), terzo nella prima frazione dopo una grande rimonta e primo nella seconda. Terza posizione per il tre volte Campione del Mondo Superenduro Billy Bolt, secondo con la sua Husqvarna in gara uno alle spalle dell’italiano e quarto nella seconda.
Il Day 3 di MotoLive a EICMA 2024 vedrà protagonisti in pista i piloti del Supercross che si sfideranno per la prima delle due giornate finali degli Internazionali d’Italia di Supercross 24MX con in gara i piloti della 65cc, 85cc, 125cc, SX Lite e SX450. In scena e in diretta su Sky Sport dalle 13.45 anche il terzo appuntamento con la Champion Charity Race, questa volta in versione Legend che regalerà l’emozione di avere in pista uno contro l’altro, ex piloti della MotoGp del calibro di Casey Stoner, Loris Capirossi e Marco Melandri, contro specialisti del fuoristrada come Stefan Everts, Alex Puzar e Chicco Chiodi, sfidarsi in sella a monocilindriche da Flat track a due e quattro tempi.

EICMA Day 1 – The second day of the eighty-first edition of EICMA once again saw MotoLive activities as protagonists in the external area. Inside the MotoLive Arena, freestyle and trial shows, joined by Maurizio Perin with his Buggy Back Flip, and the stuntmen’s tricks, that left the EICMA audience breathless accompanied by the commentary of the speakers from the stage placed in front of the SBK paddock setup and the bivouac of the Africa Eco Race. The final of the Italian E-Bike Cross FMI Just1 Championship, the second exciting battle of the Twin Cylinders Champions Charity Race and the heats of the Superenduro trophy gave the racing area of MotoLive some of the best riders in the off-road world engaged on the dirt and sand of EICMA.
Champion Charity Race Rally – The second race of the exciting duel between the specialists of the twin-cylinder maxienduro, saw the presence of 16 riders with bikes of 16 different brands, challenging each other on the demanding dirt track. At the end of the race the protagonists donated and delivered the entire prize money made available by EICMA, to “C’è da Fare ETS”. Triumphing with his Ducati Desert X, the Enduro World Champion Antoine Meo who prevailed at the end of an exciting duel with the Italian Motorally Champion and winner of the Africa Eco Race, Jacopo Cerutti, riding the Aprilia Pegasus, with the Dakar champion Alessandro Botturi out of the final and third riding the Yamaha Ténéré by just two thousandths of a second!
Superenduro – A day of revenge in the Superenduro trophy of EICMA 2024 with the E2 World Champion, Andrea Verona who signs the Tissot Holeshot and wins Friday’s challenge, climbing onto the first step of the podium with a first and a second place, finishing ahead of the winner of Thursday race’s and 2023 Enduro GP World Champion, Steve Holcombe (Honda), third in the first moto after a great comeback and first in the second. Third place for the three-time Superenduro World Champion Billy Bolt, second with his Husqvarna in race one behind the Italian and fourth in the second.
Just1 FMI Italian E-Bike Cross Championship – After the penultimate round of the Championship held at MotoLive yesterday, the Just1 FMI Italian E-Bike Cross Championship ended today in front of the EICMA crowd, assigning the titles and trophies of all the categories in the race. In EX1 Alessandro Nobile (Mondraker Craf) was crowned 2024 Champion, finishing second behind Antonio Guidi (Yamaha) who earned the 50 points up for grabs and finished behind the new champion. In the EX250 Open Tommaso Bianchetti (Specialized) confirmed the superiority of the previous day, taking home both heats also on the final day, preceding the new champion Andrea Pignotti (Polini), conquering the seasonal bronze behind Luigi Cantoreggi (Focus) who finished in 4th place of the day, with Matteo Raimondi (Polini), third. In the EXJ Christian Buniva (Elettrabike) who had conquered the red plate of the class on Thursday, returned to impose himself on Mattia Sala (Fulgur Polini) and conquered the Italian title. In the EXS, Alex Costa (Elettrabike) imposed himself once again, concluding the season in third place, preceding the new Champion of the category, Giorgio Luppi (Leaderfox) and Glauco Ciarpaglini (Husqvarna), with Carlo Sperandio (Thok), 5th of the day but seasonal silver. Success for Serghei Mori (Husqvarna) in the EXU who also wins the 2024 Italian title. In the Dirt Evo, after winning yesterday’s race, Matteo Medizza (Talaria) finishes in 3rd place behind the winner of the day Marcello Disetti (Eboost) and Andrea Tull (Talaria) and is the new Italian champion, preceding Tull in the championship and Lorenzo Manuzzi (Talaria) who takes the seasonal bronze. In the Dirt Open, the red plate of the series, Simone Angeretti (Eboost) wins and wins the title, preceding Ivan Negri (Talaria) and Manuel Favaretto (Eboost) who closes the championship in 2nd place ahead of Negri. In the Dirk Bike Stock, success of the day for Colin Bendotti (SWM) who prevails over Tomaso Giupponi (Talaria) and Samuele Pozzali (Talaria). Fourth place for Samuele Manuzzi (Talaria) who achieved the championship win, finishing the season ahead of Bendotti and Giupponi, 2nd and 3rd respectively in the season.
Day 3 of MotoLive at EICMA 2024 will see the Supercross riders on track competing for the first of the two final days of the Internazionali d’Italia di Supercross 24MX with the 65cc, 85cc, 125cc, SX Lite and SX450 riders. Also on stage and live on Sky Sport from 1.45pm is the third day with the Champion Charity Race, this time in the Legend version which will offer the thrill of having former MotoGP riders as Casey Stoner, Loris Capirossi and Marco Melandri on the track against each other, against off-road specialists such as Stefan Everts, Alex Puzar and Chicco Chiodi, challenging each other on two- and four-stroke single-cylinder Flat Track bikes.
